Dear Aunt Lillian, You don't know me but I am a distance relative. I married Jack Griffin and Dorothy Griffin's grandson Tanner. I wanted to say I am sorry for your loss to the family and I wish I could of met her. I did here stories about her and they were always pleasant.

My name is Barbara Lillian Griffin....I was named after you. I don't remember much about my childhood (I have a terrible memory) but I do remember you and Aunt Eileen. You were always so kind and always smiling. That I remember, and am always proud to state my middle name....so beautiful...like my Great Aunt Lillian.

Do you remember when I came to stay with you and Uncle Bill? I do. Fifty years have passed since then. I was 7-yrs old and you would have been just a bit younger than I am now.
Do you remember when we used to write long and chatty letters to each other? I do. I kept your letters for 30 years, and for the life of me, don't know why I ever tossed them out.
You touched so many lives, left an imprint on so many hearts. We will all cherish our precious memories, embrace them and never let them go.
May your journey to heaven be all that you hoped and prayed for, and much, much more.
