Obituary of Dr.James Currie

Died peacefully, with his family by his side, at Lisaard House in Cambridge, early Sunday morning, March 20, 2011. Dr. Currie was born July 12, 1930 in Torquay, South Devon, England. He emigrated to Canada in the late 1950's. He took excellent care of beloved pets in our K-W Community until he retired in 2003. He is survived by his wife Carole; his children, Susan, Sheena, Peter and Jane, stepchildren Claire, Kim and Ian, and his grandchildren, Joseph, Kaitlin, Joshua, Aidan, Jack, Ethan, Andrew, Aaron and baby Cole. The Currie family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, March 24 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Jim's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. A reception will immediately follow the service in the funeral home's Fireside Room.
