Geraldine and family. We we so shocked and saddened to hear of John's sudden passing. We never know what is ahead of us and need to live each and every day to the fullest. We both have many fond memories of John from the "good old days" in Ayton. Ken has many memories from his teen years and the time he spent with the gang, "John, Gary and Chopper". Beth has many memories of visiting the Ahrens home to spend time with Janice and Deb, John was often around and never missed an opportunity to "bug" his younger sisters and their friends. We were so glad that we got a chance to visit with both of you a couple of years ago when the old gang got together at Brenda & Harvey's. It was so nice to see all of you and reminisce. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time and we will keep you and your family in our thoughts as you start this new chapter in your lives.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. John was a very special man and he touched each of us in different ways. He shared many conversations with Trevor about farming and that was special for Trevor. Cameron remembers John "as a good ball player who came to our house for a BBQ". Gavin shared how "he was such a nice guy...I wish Jesus did not want him yet". Cassidy knows that this has made Grandma Lou and many others so sad. I was thrilled to have you all at our house last summer for the family tournament and visits at our home. We were looking forward to the same thing this summer. Thank you for sharing John with us...he will never be forgotten! God Bless and sending love, hugs and prayers!
