Obituary of Vernon Bowman

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Vernon Bowman on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. He has now rejoined his beloved wife Lillian who passed April 19, 2011. Vernon was a member of Calvary Memorial United Church in Kitchener and was a very active volunteer with many organizations throughout Kitchener-Waterloo. Dear father of Paul Bowman of Kitchener, Lois Riehl and her husband Keith of Cambridge. Treasured grandpa to Chantelle (Mike), Damien (Heidi), Laycee (Mike), Jason (Tanis), Ashley, Robin (Adam), Michelle (Tony); great grandpa of Maia and Nicholas, Darren, Donovan, Devin, Malachi and Maya, Declan, Ethan and Alex, Dominic and Stone, Zachary and Cameron. Predeceased by a great granddaughter Cheyenne and a brother Howard Bowman (2000). The memorial service to celebrate Vernon's life will take place in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Lynne Bandy officiating. The family will receive friends during the reception which will follow the memorial service in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
