Obituary of Katharina Rominskyi

ROMINSKYI, Katharina "Katie" 1919 - 2011 On Saturday, July 30, 2011, Katie was relieved of her suffering and went to be with her Lord. She died at Pinehaven Nursing Home in Waterloo. Katie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Alexander "Alex" in 2006. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Irene Hall of California; grandchildren, Stephen Hall and his wife Kellie, Andrew Hall and his wife Heidi, Robert Hall and his wife Kari and Kathy Hall and great-grandchildren, Joshua, Rachel, Abby, Samuel, Max, Ezekiel, and Penelope. Katie was a member of Waterloo Mennonite Brethren Church where she was a faithful prayer warrior. Friends are invited to share their memories of Katie with her family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, August 4, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The funeral service to remember Katie's life and celebrate her faith will follow in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Paul McIlwraith officiating. Following the service, friends and relatives are invited to the Historic Kuntz House for lunch and a time to visit with the family. Interment at Parkview Cemetery will follow the reception.
