Obituary of Clifford Summers

Of Kitchener, passed away unexpectedly, at home, on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the age of 80 years. Kip will remain in our hearts as a man who loved, cherished and protected his family and beloved friends. He was always happy to work with others and took an active interest in his community and his university friends. Kip, son of the late Violet and Arthur Summers and brother of the late Lillian Summers, is survived by his loving wife Audrey of 55 years and his two daughters, Linda and Joanne. He will be missed by his family and many friends. Born in Belleville, Kip served in The Royal Canadian Navy for 6 years. He was a graduate of Queens University in Commerce and was President of the AMS. Kip was employed with Lever Bros. then B.F. Goodrich for many years, and served as president of the Granite Club. He enjoyed the cottage, travelling, curling and spending time with his family and friends.
