Obituary of Beulah Wilkins

Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on August 9, 2011 at the age of 86. Beloved daughter of the late Hugh Murray and Mary Anne (Eagen) Wilkins. Cherished aunt of Bob and his wife Flory Wilkins. Great-aunt of Terri (Brad) Mappin and their children Ryley and Brady, Dallas Wilkins and fiancé Jeness, and Tanya (Sean) Verret. Step-great-aunt of Greg (Tina) Pringle and their children Matthew and Dylan, Tena (Jack) McCarthy, and Patrick (Jackie) Pringle. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Predeceased by her brother H. Kenneth Wilkins, niece-in-law Patricia Wilkins, and many dear friends. Beulah graduated from Victoria Hospital School of Nursing, London in 1947. She nursed at Victoria Hospital for 9 years before moving to Kitchener and nursing at K-W Hospital for 33 years. Since that time she has served as a volunteer in the community with St. John's Ambulance, Meals on Wheels, and Habitat for Humanity. Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, August 12 from 1 - 2 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 2 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, London will take place at a later date.
