Obituary of Franklin Stricker

Born May 15, 1923 in Listowel, Frank passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Frank was employed at B. F. Goodrich as Production Control Supervisor until his retirement in 1983. He was an avid Lepidopterist, collecting butterflies and moths in the Region of Waterloo keeping meticulously detailed records of all specimens observed and collected. Frank will be deeply missed by his daughters, Margaret (Gordon) Cale of Point Clark, Holly (David) Ewing of DeWinton, AB. Will be remembered by grandchildren, Graham, Brad, Sarah, Tiana, Lukas and Josie. Predeceased by his wife Sydney Stricker (Williams) and his parents Anna and Clarence Stricker. Friends are invited to share their memories at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, September 2, 2011 from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau. Following the cemetery service a reception will take place in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
