Hello David, Your father and I spent many very good years together at the Church of The Holy Saviour. He served there as layman, Deacon and Priest. He was a very faithful and loyal man. Perhaps you remember me bringing Holy communion to your mother when she was so sick. I truly enjoyed those visits. One time Diane and I were invited to dinner. It was absolutely delicious. I don't recall if you were present or not. Although your father died far too young at least he died in the presence of those he loved. It makes me feel better to know that he died in your home and not alone. He loved you very much and was very proud of you. I am so pleased he was with you at his end. All the best to you and your little family. I trust God will bless the three of you. May Michael rest in peace. Dennis+

Michael has been a servant of God and how encouraging it is to know that he is now in heaven with His Lord Jesus. Our prayer is that we will all meet again in heaven as He now is with his loving wife Kristin. May God be with you David.

Dear David, Meghan, & Lois: It was with great sorrow and shock that I learned of Michael's death. He was our parish priest at the time of my husband's death in 2003 and offered our family comfort and support during that difficult time. He was the first rector of The Parish of the Holy Spirit, newly formed in 2004, and I was hired as office co-ordinator. He was fantastic to work with - very patient, meticulous and keenly savy with computer technology - I learned a lot from him. He was a generally a very quiet man but our bible study group always had loads of fun and lively discussions which he encouraged and he was very engaged in. He was a great teacher and very intellectual. We certainly missed him when he left and he was very generous to our parish having established a fund in Kristin's name to assist the parish. Kristin is remembered and honoured in our parish each year at our Requiem Eucharist for All Souls and this year we shall add Michael's name to our list of dearly departed. He will live on in our memories and the legacy he has provided our parish. Please know that my family and I as well as the whole parish are very saddened by your loss and will keep you in our prayers and thoughts.
