Doctor Bain was a wonderful, dedicated, caring,and compassionate doctor and parent. He was my doctor for many years and once married took care of my wife and delivered our two children and made our lives so much better. We were so fortunate to have had the pleasure of his knowledge, experience and humour. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Rest assured he will still be looking out for all of us.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Bain. He was a doctor like no other, from the time I was 18 until his retirement he took great care of my whole family, from my Grandma (Marjorie Schiedel), my parents (Larry and Marilyn Schiedel) to myself, my husband (Martin Anderson) and our two children (Christopher and Ashley), he was always there. He was the most caring man I knew and was so gentle with the little ones. I was sad when he announced he was retiring and this makes me even sadder. I just wanted to pass on my Condolences to the Family. Dr Bain was my family Physician from 5yrs to into my 30's. Not only being a great Doctor he was a great man. His gentle and caring manner made it easy to talk to him about any health concerns. I still tell the story of writing a recipe on the paper used on the examination table and His laughter when he came into the room. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. ChefD

Sorry to hear of Dr Bain's passing. I worked at the CML lab in the same building and talked to him many times in the office. He was such a caring Doctor when it came to his patients. Many of his patients were regulars at the lab and had great praises about him. Prayers to your family at this difficult time.

Sending my prayers and condolences to the family of the late Dr. Bain. He was our family doctor to both my parents, the late Charles and Betty Ferris and myself for many years until his retirement. We could not have had and enjoyed such a lovely man who you could see he cared for his patients and gave of himself making sure we got the proper and best care possible. I am so very sorry for your loss. Dr. Bain was my family Dr. from a very young age until his retirement. He saw me through my childhood, teen years and also became my boys primary care Dr. when they were born. No one has ever matched him .... hit wit, compassion and friendship. Jean and family, please accept my deepest condolences on the death of your husband and father. Dr. Bain was our beloved family doctor from 1968 until his retirement. He delivered both my babies and was there for me during my husband's illness and after his death. He was a most caring and compassionate man and loved by his many patients. Take comfort knowing that he is now in the arms of The Lord, and that you now have your own Guradian Angel watching over you.
