Obituary of Gertrude E. Calma

Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener on Friday, April 7, 2017 after a brief illness. Beloved wife of Wilbert for 65 years. Loving mother of Mark (Jackie) Calma of Waterloo. Predeceased by son David Calma in 1993. Cherised grandma of Rebecca (Alan) Steinwall, Elizabeth (Andy) Perrin, Luke (Alicia) Calma, Matthew Calma, Jonathan Calma, Laura Calma (James Dammeier) and Brian Calma; great-grandmother of Sam Steinwall, Wesley, Austin, Max Perrin, Julia Dammeier and Kate Calma. Fondly remembered by sister Betty Weber. Special aunt of Lori (Gary) Thresh, Lisa Weber (Mike) and also godmother of Al (Tracey) Calma Predeceased by brother Al and sister Darlene. Employee of J.M. Schneider Meats and a faithful member of Glen Acres Baptist Church, Waterloo. Special thank you to St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener for their care and support through her final days.
