I have very fond memories of Derek and his canteen truck. 15 years ago, my children were 1yr & 2yrs old and played outside on Porchlight drive in Elmira, almost every day. Once each week for several years, Derek would stop his canteen truck in front of our house and would give both my children a small can of Pringles chips. You can imagine the excitement of my children when they saw his truck coming down our street! Derek was a kind man, and this kindness has not been forgotten by my family. My condolences to your family on the loss of this kind soul.
