Dear Shim Family, My heart is heavy for all of you. Vie has been a blessings to so many of us. Her gentle, reliable hospitality and work in the background was evident and revealed her heart for the Lord and her love for her family and those she ministered to. I have been blessed by her keen mind and desire to understand and apply God's word as thoughtfully and thoroughly as possible. She passed me several books to read which were always challenging and moved my thinking and understanding. We have had a piece of her incredible craftsmanship as a centre piece on our dining room table ever since she gave it to us. Vie was truly a Proverbs 31 woman and such an example! May the Lord comfort you all as you deal with the "new normal" of your lives, remembering God's great gift you in her and knowing that she has gone to the place that Jesus went ahead to prepare for her. Blessings!
