I had the privilege of getting to know Elsie at Lanark Village (Place). She was a wonderful lady and a genuine pleasure to be around. Although she was often a women of few words, the words that came out of her mouth were always mannerly, polite and kind. Elsie abided by the golden rule; 'if you don't have anything nice to say - don't say anything.',
After Elsie learned of an illness in my family, she would never cross my path without taking a moment to check in with me, and see how things were going. And upon the healing - was genuinely happy to hear the good news and share in my joy.
I am grateful to have had the gift of knowing Elsie, and consider her a shining example of the lady I would like to someday become. I will fondly remember her and hold those memories close to my heart.
Wishing all of Elsie's family and friends my deepest condolences.
Sincerely,
Tricia Nickl
