I remember Dominic from the early days at my father’s Italian grocery store now known as Vincenzos .
every Saturday like clockwork Dominic would come in for sure by his weekly Genoa salami.
And weekly Dominic and I would have wonderful chat about his family his love of Italian food and his love and Italy . Though I was a young girl at the time I remember how kind and happy Dominic always was when he came to the store .
The last time I worked in the store was in the early 80s but I have never forgotten this very kind and gentle man

It is with great sadness that we hear that Dominic has moved on. It was always great to see him and hear his stories when visiting All Terrain Drilling. He will be missed by many, as we also have missed his son and my friend Mike. Our condolences to his family and his many friends.

I recall many fond memories with "Dom" in Waterloo where I often hung out at the Pollice house. Great food comes to mind as one of the bets memories. Dom and Dothy's home was always filled with love, laughter and great food. Dom's generous spirit and hearty laugh were warm and welcoming.
To the Pollice family and relative please accept our thoughts and prayers as you bid farewell and God speed.
Dom join many friends and relatives that we all miss although take comfort in knowing that they await him.

We were all saddened to hear of Dom's passing, the patriarch of the wonderful Pollice family. No matter their age when they leave us, they are always our "mom" or "dad". .I was extremely fortunate to get to know Dom through my friendship with John and Lisa. I recall seeing a Sabres game with John, Mike and Dom. Dom regaled us with great stories all new to both myself and the boys. He had that sparkle in his eye and made for a fun night. I also got to dance with his lovely wife (of 72 years!) at Stanton House) to Bob Seger. A dynamic couple to be sure. Dom passed on his love for sports to his family. I knew the 3 youngest Pollice children the best and they all had that competitive drive to be the best. It served them well with Mike creating a successful business and John and Lisa being highly respected in the TD community. We look for dad to be a provider, guardian. disciplinarian, teacher ad friend. Their role changes through the years. Whatever we need, dad is there. There comes a time when we may become the caregivers to a parent. This is an emotionally and physically challenging time but provides a lifetime of satisfaction and fulfillment knowing we were there for them. Blessed are caregivers. Dom has left behind something for dad's of today to shoot for. A successful marriage. Successful children.. Many friends and family. Thank you Dom. It was an honour to know you and your wonderful family that you and Dorothy gave to all of us. My thoughts are with all the family.
