Hi Gramma :)
It’s been two years without you now, but your memory hasn’t faded. I’ll recall moments or say: “I miss my gramma Sandy but she’s safe in heaven now” when I’m thinking of you.
Family keeps our memories alive and we have so many videos of the time we shared. When I visit where you sleep, I know you’re safe in heaven.
I have big news...I can read now! You’d be so proud! I still love popcorn and hot chocolate on movie nights. My favourite colour is blue and I love arts and crafts. And I’m still the energizer bunny!! :)
Those around me say I resemble you and have your loving heart and big spirit. I know you’d be here if you could and I know how much you loved me. I love you too. You spent so much time with me as I grew and you had such an amazing impact on the person I’m growing to be. I’ll realize that more and more as I grow.
Always and forever gramma, you have a special place in my heart and I love you!
Remembering you today, and always.
Love,
Preslee
XOXOXO

You were my gramma, my friend and my strongest supporter. You spent so much with me, quality time - you loved me, cared for me, and showed me the way. You left too soon, but I know that you didn’t want to leave me, and I know how much you loved me. I love you so much Gramma, and with the help of my family and technology (aka videos) I will always remember the happy times we spent together. You handled life with such grace, and loved each and every member of your family - and extended family - selflessly and unconditionally. Not a day went by where I didn’t feel your love and support. From cards via snail-mail, to picking me up for sleepovers, you never missed the opportunity to show how much you loved me. I’m growing so fast, that’s what you and everyone else has told me, but I want you to know that you were such an important part of my life and development over these past 4 years. I may not be able to express my appreciation now, but I think my excitement each time I saw you, and my disappointment every time I had to leave you, says it all. I’m so lucky to call you my Gramma, and I’ll keep you in my heart forever. I’ll be sure to keep the sneak-attack legend alive in your honour. I love you Gramma, thank-you for being you xoxoxoxoxo

"When someone you Love becomes a MEMORY, the MEMORY becomes a TREASURE!" Blessings to Sandra's immediate and extended families...I grew up and went to elementary and high school with Sandra. Our parents were friends as well. Lots of fond memories when we delve into the past as these sad times in our lives. BLESSINGS!

Sandra and I grew up just down the road from each other. We played together all the time, went to each other’s birthday parties just always had fun. My family moved to the states as we started high school, we wrote back and forth for years then time took over and we lost touch but we reconnected years ago. We kept in touch writing letters back and forth updating each other with family news and news of people I knew in Petersburg. Three years ago I was back up for a visit and we had lunch together we talked and talked and talked. Sandra was a kind loving gentle person, I will miss her letters and funny emails. My deepest sympathy to her family.

I met Sandy at the Dutch Boy on Highland Rd where we took care of the cookie aisle in between our cashier duties. She was a wonderful person and always had a sincere smile. Years after Dutch Boy I met her at Sears and was pleased to see she had not changed in the least. Still the loving caring person I met years before. My condolences to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

My sincere condolences to Tim and his family. I had the pleasure of meeting Sandy recently. My image of "what Tim's mom would be like" was confirmed with her pleasant nature.
With that one visit, it was obvious how dedicated she was as a mother and grandmother.
Rest in Peace, dear Sandy.

Sandy was a childhood friend. I got to know her when she spent some of her summer at her aunt's home on Brewery Street in Baden, and then around grade 7 Petersburg students were sent to our school in Baden. Sandra was always fairly quiet and once I met Linda, I knew why Sandy was so quiet. I ran into her often at Sears and oddly enough, two of my friends and I were talking about her on Tuesday afternoon after seeing a Sears poster. Her quiet, kind and considerate nature will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Condolences to Jeff, Tim, Linda & Brian and grandchildren. Sandra was a very special friend. As children we grew up down the road from each other and pickling corn was always something Erma shared with my mom for pickling. We spent time together as teenagers and were in each other's wedding parties. So many memories of such a kind, caring friend. I will miss our dinners together.
I know you are now with your mom in a heavenly place.
Farewell Sandra, Love

Sandy , It was great to work with you at Sears. You were always so friendly, kind and caring, when others were not.
We also had a lot of fun going to mary-kay meetings. Learning about the new and different way for skin care and cosmetics. All the ra ra. lol
My heart and prayers go out to your family.
I will surely miss you.

My sincerest heartfelt condolences to Jeff, Chrissy, Tim, Linda, Brian and all your grandchildren and nieces and nephews. I have many many cherished memories sharing Christmas gatherings and other special times as a kid with my Swartzentruber loved ones. Sandra is always smiling and giving. You’ve left us too soon. May you have peace, see Lester and Erma in heaven, and have everlasting life through God’s grace. Thank you for being a wonderful friend to us.
