I have the fondest memories of time spent with Ruth..and Norm, from very early childhood & into early adult. I will always remember her as a kind & loving woman who was very much like an Aunt to me. Love & condolences to her family & friends.

Terry, Brenda, Ryan, Rachel, Tyler and Brett...
Where do we begin to express our heartfelt condolences...what a full life Aunt Ruth led. We have many, many, fond and funny memories of her, Uncle Norm and times spent with everyone at their home, attending many weddings or parties together, days at their cottage or at Tom and Norma's in Long Point. They all loved to entertain so much and family time was so important, especially at Christmas. Her passing this week has brought a lot of reminiscing of the fun we all had together. Many laughs for sure. Hopefully you can take some comfort in the fact that she and your dad left many good memories that will keep them all in our hearts for many years to come.

To the Kirkby family:
Our deepest sympathies on the loss of your family member. Edith & I had the special privilege of working for many years with Ruth for many years at New Apostolic church which was in the same building as Stamm Investments. Ruth was always kind to everyone she met. We had many special memories with Ruth & Norm at the annual work Christmas parties. Will keep your whole family in our prayers. Your mom will always have a special place in your heart.

Terry, Brenda, Ryan, Rachel, Tyler & Brett - we're saddened for you - you'll miss her - she was a kind-hearted mother and grandmother...and Aunt to us. We have such fond memories - of happy times being with Ruth and Norm - they loved to entertain / they knew how to entertain / they were an ideal Aunt and Uncle. We'll miss her. (We'll also miss her pastry - she had a knack for making good pie crusts.) It'll seem strange now, not to receive her birthday cards. She always remembered everyone's birthday - sending birthday cards with her impeccable penmanship. She cared deeply for all of you (and yes, the dogs as well. We still remember "Nipper" - Terry's dog while growing up.) She cared for family and welcomed-in the girlfriends and boyfriends who later married into the family. She took the last bus home following Anthony and Casey's wedding reception...she wouldn't miss a single moment to be with family...and yes, she always loved a good party. We could keep writing / reminiscing here...we'll share in your grief on Thursday. She's with Norm - she's returned home. With love and fond memories of Aunt Ruth, Love, Jane, Bruce, Robert, Chanon, Michael, Rebecca and Bruce's mom, Sheila, who also sends her sympathies to you - her remembrances of Ruth.
