Obituary of Ruth Emma Kirkby

Passed away peacefully at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Sunday September 30, 2018, at the age of 92 years.

Loving mother of Terry (Brenda).  Special grandmother of Ryan (Rachel), Tyler and Brett.  Will be fondly remembered by nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her husband Norman Kirkby (2001); parents George and Gladys Eade and brother Ralph Eade.

Ruth was a long-time member of Knox Waterloo Presbyterian Church.  She worked for many years at Heimpel Automotive and then Stamm Investments. 

Friends are invited to share their memories of Ruth with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 2–4 p.m. and 7–9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday October 4, 2018 at 1 p.m., with Rev. Brooke Ashfield as officiant.  A reception will immediately follow in the Kuntz House of the funeral home.  A private family interment will take place at Memory Gardens, Breslau.
