Jan told me about Judy's diagnosis a short time ago, which was so difficult to comprehend. How is it that a dynamic, loving, vibrant woman be plowed down in a few short months by such a devastating disease? Judy was a beautiful person in every way. So easy to talk to and such a great sense of humour. Although we only connected (again, in Randy's case) in the past few years (on too few occasions, sadly), she will always have a special place in our hearts and will be missed a great deal. We can only imagine the size of the hole she leaves in the hearts of her family.

I am very, very sad to hear of Judy's passing. I taught across the hall from her at Howick Central for many years. We had lots of laughs together.
