I was saddened to hear of the passing of Dorothy. No matter their age, they are still MOM. I know a number of her children have shown her dedicated and loving care over the last several years when she needed that little extra attention when we get older. Dorothy passed a little over 6 months since her husband, Dominic, of 72 years left us. A wonderful couple who gave us 5 great children to know as friends, co workers , golf partners and even bosses. Dorothy loved her tea. Her afternoon soap operas. Making great spaghetti sauce from Dominic grown tomatoes. Whether it was Italy, Sparrow Lake, snowmobiling or spending time with friends or family she always showed humour and her zest for people. She loved her family and remembered birthdays of those young and old.
As one of her children recently told me. She was always there for me.
There is no higher praise for a parent!
Thank you Dorothy. Thank you Dom. You have left us a great legacy with your family.

Monica and I have the Pollice Family in our thoughts and prayers. It's been a busy year in your world to say the least. Dorothy was lucky to have such committed and loving children who attended with her to her final breath. May we all live long and be loved so well.
The Pollice home was one of warmth, love, laughter and good food!
As a young boy I enjoyed many fun days in KW when we would visit. I can hear Dorothy's pleasant and cheery laugh as I write this note.
She joins a great gang that have passed before her and hopefully they will look down upon us and keep good watch over us.
Godspeed Dorothy!
Phillip and Monica Brown

Auntie Dorothy...........A Beautiful Lady
Kind, Warm-Hearted, Welcoming, Friendly, Peaceful, Happy, and Compassionate.
I lit a candle for you today.
Whether at family gatherings, Kitchener bar-b-que's, or Florida visits....
You gave a feeling of warmth and understanding. I always knew that I could say
anything and you would find a caring word and warm smile in reply. Your words
were positive and reassuring.
When I think of a role-model for a Kind-Hearted-Spirit ...........
I think of you, Auntie Dorothy.
Respectfully. Love, Mary

Aunt Dorothy was one of the best.
Even through your sadness, I hope you will hold on to the thought that a life lived with so much love from so many never really ends, but goes on forever in the hearts of all those who remember.
My deepest sympathy and condolences to all the Pollice family.
