Mike was born on September 30, 1949. He is predeceased by his parents, William and Kathleen Hilling, and his sister Carol. Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Karen (Seegmiller). They were married at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Kitchener on January 31, 1970.
Lovingly remembered by his three daughters; Sarah (Anthony), Rachel, Leah (Ryan), cherished grandchildren; Mallory (Sanjay), Mackenzie, Jacob, sister-in-law Valerie, and his best friend, Larry.
Mike was a life member of the Kitchener Lions Club and Past District Governor of A15; Mike was honoured to have received the Melvin Jones Fellowship.
In Mike’s own words he had a good life and a good wife to share his travels and adventures. He enjoyed summers at Twilight Camp and gathering with friends at the 404 KW Wing RCAFA. Those who knew him could always count on his sense of humour and support when they needed it most.
