Obituary of Lorna Roxanne Sippel

SIPPEL, Lorna Roxanne (nee Foell)

Passed away at The Elliott community, Guelph on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at the age of 86 years.

Born on April 25, 1932 in Waterloo ON, daughter of the late Alvin and Doris Foell.  Wife of the late Earrol Henry Sippel. Loving mother of Deborah (Werner) Eitzen and Tim Sippel.  Proud and loving grandmother of Lindsay (Mark), Katarina and Adrian Eitzen and Cole Sippel.  Survived by sisters Elfreda “Alfie” Wahl and Eileen Schnarr and brothers Don (Gail) Foell and brother-in-law Eric Ostrander and sister-in-law Lynne Foell. Aunt to many nieces and nephews and remembered by Marianne Sippel. 

Predeceased by sisters Mavis Weismiller and Dorothy Ostrander and brothers Denis, Cliff and Ken Foell, brothers and sisters-in-law Howard Wahl, Gord Schnarr, Fred Weismiller, Myrtle Foell and Theresa Foell. 

Lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church Waterloo. She was a former employee of Dominion Life Insurance Company and the Waterloo County Board of Education, as secretary at Keatsway school.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Lorna with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  A Memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, December 31 at 11:00 am. Reception to follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Cremation will take place and interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
