Ron and I worked together for years at Dolan Shoes & Ron loved the fashion business. We imported fashion footwear and Ron & I were constantly travelling to Europe to find the newest & the best. I would like to share my favourite travelling companion memory of Ron with you: As you know Ron was very humble. Our Europe trips started in London England & we always had dinner at Longans, a restaurant In Mayfair. The owner Micheal Caine was having a birthday party that night & our hostess, who got a new pair of Dolan Shoes every six months, sat us at the bar near the party room. Well, Ron was "blown away" by all the stars he saw the night but I wish you could have seen the look on Ron's face when George Harrison stopped by to say Hi! I'm very saddened to hear of Ron's passing. We spent many a loud nights at my house on Langford place with me pounding on plastic pails for drums and Ron playing his his guitar. Tina, I'll never forget the time when you, Ron, and I chatted with Marcia Ball, after her concert in downtown Kitchener, or when Ron played a song with his old band at the Helix reunion in Brantford, or that beautiful, sunny day, when you and Ron were married.
