A light has gone out from us and into everlasting glory and happiness. Joy gave us hope, happiness and the example to serve others in need, which she always did. We will miss her sorely but take comfort in knowing she is now safe, well, and in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. Separated from us temporarily, we will miss her and look forward to again sharing love and life everlasting. SOLI DEO GLORIA

I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss. My days spent at University Gates were truly blessed by my friendship with your mom. She added so much to my work, and was patient, kind and always said " thank you".
I will never forget our talks, hugs, and our singing together. I asked Joy what her favorite song was when I first met her. She told me " Joy to the World as it has my name in it". I laughed and we both began to sing this song, and I continued to sing this and "Amazing Grace" to her in her final days, and my last visit with her was incredibly special.
As a healthcare worker, there are many that come into our path, but few have an impact like your mother did. She was named well as she brought joy to me everyday I saw her..
Thank you for bringing her to University Gates as I feel so blessed to have known, loved, and cared for her.
She will always be in my thoughts. And I am sending all of you hugs..
Take care and continue to show the love, patience and kindness that your mother carried with her, to others. That is what she had shown me. Xoxo.
