Stan, it was great meeting you at the St. Jacobs Grill every Wednesday for beers. Good times, good laughs. You always gave me a good laugh after a hard day at work.
Cheers, until we meet again. I’ll miss our Wednesday’s.
My condolences to his family.
From,
John the broom maker.

Marg & Family: We are truly saddened to hear of Stans`passing. He was always such a fine person to associate with over the many functions of the LBMAO. We have many fond memories of his wit as the MC at all the dinners over the years. He was one of a kind and will be remembered by all who had the pleasure to associate with him in the numerous duties he served in our industry. Our prayers are with you at this time. Cheryl. When Ben was on his way, Sweet Kyla provided your nursery bedding. In return your dad made each of us girls a wooden caddy for our toiletries. I still use mine every day and think of Stan every time I take it from my bathroom cupboard. He truly was a talented craftsman and we enjoyed his many visits to see us at the sewing shop. He will be sadly missed by our entire family.

We are truly grateful to have known Stan. Not only was he a very funny man, but he was also a caring individual who always put others before himself. Stan may have left us physically, but he lives on in our hearts and minds with plenty of fond memories, Marg, Cheryl, Shelly and Michael....May God Bless you and your families in these tough times. And take comfort in knowing that Stan was truly One-of-a-Kind and God has him building something in heaven!

Dear Marg & family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time, I have so many wonderful memories of my time working with Stan at New Life Mills for many years.
I will always have a smile remembering Stan as MC at Xmas parties, jokes, just too many to mention. Marg loved to see the loving relationship you & Stan shared.

I was so blessed to have Stan as a friend of mine for close to 60 years. If I was able to calculate the hours of laughter he so subtly gave me I probably would have set a world record. But he was so much more. He was a one of a kind friend. He shared his caring ways and humour with so many, expecting nothing in return - and that included my daughters Bev, Jodi, Kelly, Andrea and my wife Marg. The world was a much better place with his presence and poorer with his leaving. My dear friend Stan, DEATH IS NOT EXTINGUISHING THE LIGHT, IT IS PUTTING OUT THE LAMP BECAUSE THE DAWN HAS COME. Rest in peace with your saviour as you so deserve.
