Obituary of Stanley Glen Iutzi
IUTZI, Stanley Glen – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stanley Glen Iutzi on Thursday, April 4th, 2019. He leaves behind his best friend and beloved wife of 61 years, Marg; son, Michael and his partner Diana; daughter, Cheryl Shane and her husband Daryl; daughter Shelley Townend and her husband Brian. Much loved grandfather to Ryan Iutzi and his wife Torrey, Taylor Iutzi, Benjamin Shane and his partner Lauren, Carly Shane, and Sadie Townend. Predeceased by his parents, William and Helena Iutzi, sisters, Erma Schwartzendruber and her husband Glenn, Merrill Steckley and her husband William, daughter-in-law, Judy Iutzi, and grand-daughter, Abby Iutzi. Stan’s mission in life was to make people laugh and smile. All that knew him would agree: Mission Accomplished!! Stan enjoyed a long and reputable career in the building industry. During his retirement years, he dedicated much of his time to creating treasures in his Country Friends woodworking shop in New Dundee. He was a genuine man of honour, hard-working, a true craftsman and always quick to lend a hand. Stan will be dearly missed by family, friends, neighbours and all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. Stan’s family will receive friends on Thursday, April 11th from 1pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 9pm at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, 519-745-8445. Visitation will continue on Friday, April 12th at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 49 Queen Street North, Kitchener, from 10:00am until the time of Stan’s funeral service to celebrate his life at 11:00am. Reception will immediately follow the service, in the fellowship hall at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Peter’s Television Ministry, Hospice of Waterloo Region or Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by the family.
