Obituary of Derek Williams

Derek Williams, 54, of Waterloo, Ontario, passed away unexpectedly on May, 6, 2019.

He was born to parents Delores Williams and Milton George Williams, on August 18^th, 1964, in Leeds, England.

Derek is predeceased by his siblings, Jeffrey Williams, Jennifer Williams, John Williams, and his mother Delores Williams.

Derek was the beloved husband of Sandra Williams, proud father of sons Matt Williams and Mike Williams, as well as his daughters Celia Williams, Candice Ryan, and Tonya Johnson. Derek is loved and survived by his sisters Patricia Williams and Valerie James (Phillip), as well as his father Milton George Williams.  Derek was the treasured grandfather to Jada and Nathan Churchill and will forever be remembered by his mother-in-law Gail Ryan (late Mick Ryan), sisters-in-law Wendy Ryan (partner Steve Howell), Brenda Ryan and missed by his nieces, nephews, friends, close and far, neighbours and extended family. 

Derek will be remembered as a light-hearted, talkative, positive man. He enjoyed playing guitar, writing songs, collecting jewellery, and spending time with his wife and family. 

The memorial will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
