I just heard of Kathy's death this evening. I had been out of town. Kathy was a special gal with a lovely smile. I worked with Kathy on Mat- Child at KWH for many years when I was supervising my nursing students and later when I also worked there.. Kathy always brought a bright light and a warm glow into the room. She will be missed by her many nursing colleagues.

Katherine was a wonderful new neighbour of ours while we lived in the Drewlo Building on Queen Street. Always greeting us with a smile, always enjoying life stories and always being so kind - she was a true human being! Marty Schreiter
Our fond memories of Aunt Kathy’s laughter and beautiful smile will remain in our hearts forever. She loved the colors of fall, and I know she is now smiling down on us.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts Isaiah 55:9. Christine Scott and family
Dear family: Her Journey’s Just Begun. Don't think of her as gone away - her journey's just begun, life holds so many facets - this earth is only one. . . Just think of her as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years. Think how she must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched . . . for nothing loved is ever lost and she was loved so much. IN LOVING MEMORY OF KATHERINE ANNE KRUEGER.
I will forever miss your radiant smile Kathy, is was an honour to work along side you on Childbirth, may your next journey allow you to reconnect with all those you loved and lost!! Rest in Peace dear old friend! Joan Danbrook
