Obituary of Norman Metro Kudrenecky

It is with great sadness that the family of Norman Kudrenecky announce  his unexpected passing at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Wednesday December 23, 2020.  He was 89.

Norman is pre-deceased by his parents, Fred and Annie; two brothers Max and Reynold and his son John who died in Bolivia in 2019.  He will be sadly missed by his wife Nora, daughter Antoinette, son in law John, grandchildren Jake and Caroline in Connecticut and Richard and Henry in Bolivia.

Norman was a graduate of KCI and holds a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Queen’s university in Kingston ON. Norman loved classical music which played continuously in the family home. He was also keenly interested in the antiquities and could be heard whistling along to his favorite classical pieces while reading about ancient architecture. Norman’s love of Civil Engineering never waned, and he continued to work until the age of 85 when he officially retired.

The family would like to extend their gratitude and special thanks to the dedicated medical staff at Grand River Hospital, close friends and to the neighbors on Deerpark Crescent.

Cremation has taken place. Norman will be interred at Mayflower, the family cottage in Grand Bend ON and at Mount Hope Cemetery, Kitchener.
