Dear Mark, Jess and Ben,
Deep friendship is something to be cherished and that is what I shared with Cindy for so many years. We experienced so many good times and also challenging times from high school until now. We've laughed and cried. I feel so blessed to call her my friend.
Her family was always most important to her and it will be difficult now without her. Your strong beautiful tree on the farm planted in front of the property will always remind me of Cindy's strength and beauty as a person. Her spirit and love lives on in you as she is at peace now with God. Blessings to you.
Love always,
Milly & Rick Zilinskas

Mark, Jessica and Ben,
We would like you to know that you are in our prayers as you are feeling the loss of Cindy....wife and mother. We feel honored and privileged in that we were able to share so many wonderful conversations and times with Cindy while visiting and shopping at Oakrifdge Acres. She made you feel like you were entering her home as soon as you walked through the doors. Her enthusiasm and joy for life was felt by all and clearly evident as she always went out of her way to help in whatever way she could. How fortunate we are to have these wonderful experiences which we can forever carry with us and warm our hearts and which truly signify her loving kindness.

Uncle Mark, Jessica and Benjamin,
Aunt Cindy was so proud of her family. You were at the centre of all she did and my thoughts are with you.
One of my favourite things about her was that she always saw the beauty in things. She had such a keen eye for detail in all aspects of life, strong faith, dedicated leadership and remarkable compassion for others. May her example of how to treat others live on in all of us.
All my love,
Jenny

Aunt Cindy will always hold a special place in my heart. I still have the stuffed Koala Bear that she and Uncle Mark gave me when I was born. I remember various times spent with her, Uncle Mark, Jessica and Ben with fondness, both in Canada, and at times when they would visit Florida and invite my brother Devon and I to join them at their condo.
My condolences go out to everyone affected by her passing and I pray that God will grant help as we all learn, over time, how to cope with her passing.
With Love;
Joel, Gailyn, Ariel & Judah Gerber

I was a quiet and shy girl when I started grade 9 at Eastwood Collegiate. We had just moved into the area and I didn’t know anyone at the school. I was placed in a class of art enthusiasts, totally out of my realm and I felt awkward, alone and scared. Hard times at 14 yrs old.
God saw me.
And God knows what he’s doing, even when things look bleak. He’s for us.
Unknown to me, he would introduce me to one of my dearest friends who would walk with me for a lifetime.
Cindy noticed me and included me in her group of friends. She and I grew very close as we shared a spare class together. She was able to draw out this shy girl in a way that made me feel listened to, understood and valued. That was Cindy’s greatest gift, she valued people.
She taught all of us how to value people by her example.
memories…
One early conversation I remember, we were talking about dogs and I told Cindy that there was one kind of dog that made me uncomfortable, drooling bulldogs! She laughed and laughed, and then told me that her family had 2 of them and loved them! I’ve had a change of heart… well, somewhat, but I simply love that she loved those slobbery dogs!
We went through high school driver training together, the two of us and the instructor in this big boat of a car. The instructor was definitely the captain, and made it known. He intimidated Cindy and frightened her while she was learning to drive, so I prayed for her in the backseat.
We have shared so much over the years, laughter for sure, lots of laughter! Also weeping, as we shared tough times together. It felt like we were woven from the same cloth, always wanting to get right down to the heart of the matter. Especially over the last few months, we’ve sewn memories that I’ll cherish forever.
If you knew only one thing about Cindy, it was how much she loved you, her family. It is impossible not to love you myself, as she presented you to me so lovingly.
You loved and cared for her well, and in her last days, you were right by her side to the end, just the way she wanted it to be. Love is the best!
I love this picture and have looked at it and wept often, knowing that Cindy is with Jesus! Safe and loved completely in his arms, forever!
I love you Cindy, and will cherish you always in my heart, Jane
