To the Solomon Family: Rosemary and I were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Eileen. She was a very special lady who lived a very full life. We remember fondly the happy memories of the Solomon parties and reunions. Unfortunately, the Covid pandemic makes it impossible for personal contact. But you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Sending our condolences to the whole family. We had the good fortune to meet Mrs. Solomon at the cottage in Amberley a couple of times. It was Fun at First Sight ! We knew it was like meeting a legend before we even had the privilege to make eye contact. We thought, who is this wonder women who could produce and contain such a large and diverse brood ? It was fitting that Eileen was made the centre of attention on that warm afternoon, as she seemed to be holding court on the patio overlooking the vast Lake Huron. Surrounded by this welcoming family, we raised a glass or two ! We soon found out that you better be ready for a witty return from Eileen if you send an amusing comment her way . She blended in seamlessly . We know that she will be Greatly missed . The Reinhardts

I have fond memories of the Solomon household from my school days. I always marveled at all those kids, having only one sibling myself, but always felt like part of the family when there.
