Pat, you were the best brother in law a guy could have. I learned a lot from you and your dad, working together and helping you out on projects - you were always patient, and took the time to explain things. You were super picky and wanted things done just right - especially when you helped us reno our new house in Heidelberg. As a tradesman, I always admired your attention to detail, and took example from you and your dad. I used to say at work - if it's not done to Pat and Don's standard, it's not done right. Moving to KW last year, I was looking forward to seeing you more at our place for BBQ's and excited for you to see my garage - and maybe play a game of darts once I had it all set up. We talked about going fishing together this summer in the little tinner, and you coming over to show me how to use the lawn tractor - you loved driving that thing! I will miss sharing the good times, the laughs, and having a Belgian Moon with you, which is also one of my favourite beers. Till we meet again buddy, you will always have a place in my heart.

Patty was so special to our family , he was the person who always had our backs. He was an extension of our family unit . If there was work being done , he jumped in without needing to ask. He would appear out of the woods when you least expected him, couple times a week for sure . If the door opened without a knock around 4pm I knew it was Pat . Our families greatest memories are Thursday night BBQ’s and campfires both at home and at the cottage . Sunday morning pancakes were the best , when Pat made them. He had the best one liners , I’ll Miss all of our inside jokes we had . I could always count on Pat to spend a little extra time with the kids when Nick would work late or help me with something while we were waiting for Nick to get home . The boys loved pulling the pin on Pats little lawn trailer , and they always got a laugh. the kids also enjoyed games and building stuff with him too. He’s going to be missed in our home , time was always fun when Pat was around . We’ll miss his advice and opinions and vice versa . Also his listening ear and helping hands . Stories , laughs and day to day chats about everything and anything and what’s going on in ST C . It’s not goodbye it’s see you later buddy. We’re gonna miss you like crazy .

Life passes by and we don’t recognize the opportunity to tell our friends how great we think their kids are. Now is the time to open that vault as we share all those banked up memories.
