From a very young age I always enjoyed being around my uncle Bob. Somehow, in my eyes, he seemed different than the other adults. Like his sister Jean, he was funny and a kind, gentle soul. I have fond memories of Christmas’s at the family home when we were all together. Later in life and all grown up we enjoyed so many nice visits with Bob and Lorraine. Those two together were a lot of fun to be with. I feel very blessed for all those times we spent with you.
We’ll miss you Bob.

What a lovely tribute. You captured so many aspects of Bob that everyone liked. It's an understatement to say he was well known in the local insurance community. Everyone knew him and he always had a pleasant word to share for everyone. And yet, somehow, he seemed too "young" to officially retire when he finally made the decision at 85. Very many fond memories of industry events and seeing Bob. He contributed to a better community. I'm sure his entire family is just as proud of him and his accomplishments as he was of them. Our most sincere condolences on your loss. With love, thoughts and prayers.

Sending my sincere condolences for the loss of your father. I met Bob many years ago through Lorraine Munn. My husband, Sam, and I spent many happy times with Bob and Lorraine cruising the Caribbean and at Clark Point, Kincardin. We enjoyed their visits to our home in Grimsby. Stella Hendry, Kitchener.

At meal times at Highland Place, I was seated across from Bob. When I got to know Bob better, he opened up and always had a comical word first thing in the morning. At his last, he ate very little and it concerned me pointing it out to the nurse.R.I.P. Bob. (Family Plese call me at Highland Place 741-o221) #76

Bob was a cousin that I only new by name for a long time. However, in the last twenty year of retirement, we have been together several times with Thamer cousin reunions. As the family has noted, Bob was always jovial and delightful to be around. May the Lord be gracious to Bob and comforting to all his family, relatives, colleagues and friends. Gene Thamer

We really enjoyed Bob. He was the one who got us involved with the OQHA. We had many good laughs and we shared some good times at Milestones where he always liked the beef. When he came to visit at our farm he always brought a few good stories. Bob will be missed .

Bob was a good friend of my father's, Ed Paquette, and later in life, he and Lorraine were dear friends to four of us who shared many enjoyable hours with them at both the cottage and Bob's condo in Kincardine. Always generous and welcoming, we looked forward to our visits and hearing his stories.
Although we hadn't seen Bob in a couple of years, we will miss our visits and his sense of humour.

Our condolences to Michael, Rusty, Spencer, Cassidy & Nancy.
Working with Bob was always an adventure. One never knew what he was going to come up with. He always had a story to tell, a trip to take, a party to plan. He had such a generous spirit. He was always very good to his employees. Whether it was fresh corn or strawberries from Herrle Farms or a souvenir from a cruise or one of his many land trips, he always thought of us. The many bbqs at his home, the awesome Christmas dinners at the Charcoal
Steakhouse or the summer parties at our home on Wilcox Lake-we always had many laughs. You were quite the character Bob & we know you will continue to tell your stories in your eternal home.
You may be gone, but all who knew you will never forget you.
Rob & I thank you & will never forget all the fun times we shared.
Love Rob & Deb McCulloch
