Obituary of Bud Oakes

After a 5-year battle with cancer, Bud passed away peacefully with family by his side on April 14, 2021 at the age of 76.

Beloved husband of Mary for 30 years. Loving father to Robin (Rod), Kevin (Annette) and Tracy (Greg). Cherished poppy to Crystal, Amber, Julie, Cheyanne and Kiera. Devoted great poppy to Kyuss, Theodore and Rosie. Survived by his siblings Mary (Heinz), Betty (Nello), Tom (Carol), Kathy (Bart), sister-in-law Agnes (Wolfgang) and brother-in-law Steve. Predeceased by his parents George and Elizabeth and his sisters Anne and Francie. Will forever remain in the hearts of his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was an avid fisherman who loved the great outdoors. He will be greatly missed.

Cremation has taken place. Due to COVID-19, a Celebration of Bud’s Life will be held at a later date.
