At Bloomingdale United we celebrate milestone birthdays with cake and ice cream after the Sunday service. On the occasion of Wib's 85th we were all ready with the cake and he somehow managed to sneak out without being aware of our festive intentions. The cake had to be saved for a later date and we never let him forget it--all in good fun, of course! We will remember him fondly. Heather Trakalo

Dear Marg and family. Wib was such an integral part of our group of six. Fishing ---golfing ----then finally luncheon. He always brought interesting information as well as witty comments to any conversation. His efforts to join us after his move to Waterloo were very much appreciated. We will miss him. Margaret and family- my deepest sympathy to all in the passing of Wib. I attended church at Bloomingdale , went to Maryhill when needed for services at the retirement home and played the piano and enjoyed his singing and comments in our little choir.
