Obituary of Elaine Geffros

Our wonderful mother, Elaine Geffros, passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s General Hospital in Kitchener on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the age of 93.

Beloved wife of the late Bud Geffros (2011). Elaine’s love of life and devotion to her family will be greatly missed by her children, Dianne McGuire (Frank), Yvonne (Bonnie) Riehl (Bob deceased), and Brian Geffros (Elizabeth). She will be fondly remembered by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and the many friends who became part of her family. Daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret Fries (Goodwin). Dear sister of Earl (Jackie), Ross (Carla), Doug (late Shirley), Gary (late Lorraine) and the late Murray (May), Wilbert, Joyce (Ron), Robert, Butch (Shirley), and Phyllis Geiger (Arlen). Elaine is also survived by her sisters-in-law Shirley Fries and Molly Fries.

A private family visitation and funeral service will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo with interment following at Parkview Cemetery in Waterloo. A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
