My sincere sympathies and condolences to Kim, Karen ,Jan and families. I had the pleasure of meeting Anne Marie in 1992. She was a kind lady to me. My late Mother Henrietta Thurston-Fraser and her were close friends for many years. I loved Annie’s style, humour , grace and generosity. When I was at work she showed up and surprised me with wooden hangers as a Christmas gift , to this day I still have many of them. Her support during my late Mother’s illness is something I will never forget. I am forever thankful and grateful that I knew her , such a great lady. Love you Annie!!

I didn't get to see Mrs. Gray too often the last 25 years (I was very well-acquainted with her daughters Karen and Kimberly), but whenever I did it was an occasion rich with laughter, kindness and good conversation. She had a great sense of humour, and was kinda hip and sassy and fabulous in a way one wouldn't expect from such a refined, elegant adult. She ended up becoming one of my mom's coolest friends, which I suspect meant a lot to my mother. Wow, I can still hear Mrs. Gray's pleasantly distinctive voice.... Be well Karen, Kim and Jan and grandkids.

It must have been ten years or so ago that I recall sitting at my late mother Nella's kitchen table with her sociable, beautiful-souled friend Anne-Marie, discussing--of all things--the career of Martin Luther (I was teaching the Protestant Reformation at the time).
Anne-Marie was her usual charming self: animated and easy-going in conversation. It was a sheer joy to be in her company that day and many other times as well. My dear mother passed in 2015, and now she is welcoming Anne-Marie to their reunion in heaven. I can just imagine it. May God bless the Gray family at this melancholy time.

I am so sorry to read about Anne Marie's passing, my deepest condolences to the family. Anne Marie and I worked together in the mid 70s and we shared so many good laughs together. Unfortunately we lost touch. I am happy to have known her, very vibrant personality that always lit up a room with her presence. I will hang onto the loving memories. Here is a picture I pulled out when the girls visited the office, which was often. May she rest in peace. Jasmin Khan

The Grays have been a big part of our family’s wonderful memories, starting when we met in 1976. From Christmas dinners and summer fun in Waterloo to special lunches on the West Coast, Anne-Marie always brought love and laughter. We can see her strong character, kindness, sense of humour and loving concern for others being carried on by her family. She loved you all so much, and was very proud of your accomplishments. In our hearts and our memories, Anne-Marie will always be remembered with love.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I had the privilege of working with Anne-Marie at Staebler Insurance. Anne-Marie was well ahead of her time as a strong woman in the Insurance world and was a wonderful example of determination and professionalism. I loved hearing her talk about her travels, career experiences and her family. She was so passionate about life and had a great sense of humor. I admired Anne-Marie's confidence and her awesome sense of style. It was always wonderful to cross paths with Anne-Marie after her retirement as she carried her feistiness into her retirement years. She is someone that I am grateful to have known and I am so thankful for the memories. My deepest condolences to her family.

I was very shocked and sorry to hear about Annie's illness and death. I worked closely with Anne Marie for many years at Staeblers and learned so much from her. We continued to meet for "Staebler ladies" dinners long after we all went our separate ways. What fun those dinners were. So many laughs at her stories. She was one of a kind and we will all miss her.

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Anne-Marie. My deepest condolences to Jan, Kim, Karen and families. I had the pleasure of working with her as her marketing assistant. She was brilliant, tenacious and never stopped until she got what the client required. An underwriter wouldn't dare say they couldn't do something she needed for her client. I had the pleasure of spending many lunches with her right up until covid hit us. We also enjoyed many dinners with some of our former Staebler gang. I will miss our many laughs and her stories, she was truly one of a kind. Anne-Marie was most proud of her family and all they accomplished. May you rest in peace my dear friend. Kim MacGrandles

Karen, Kim and Jan, and all your families, please accept our deepest condolences on your loss of your Mom, Anne-Marie. Our two families have enjoyed a warm friendship since we met in Windsor through our mutual dear friend, Henrietta Thurston, many years ago. We have so many great memories of your Mom, of our times together, of our lively conversations and phone calls. We shall cherish our memories of her kindness, her laugh, her quick wit, her delicious sense of humour and her zest for adventure. We appreciated her strength and independence, her lively interest in the world around her and her deep and genuine pride in her family. What a woman! You were fortunate to call her your Mom! We were lucky to know her.
The way the three of you rallied around as Team Annie when she was diagnosed and stayed by her side through her valiant final battle speaks volumes of the grit and devotion that you have surely inherited from her.
Bon voyage, dear friend.

I was so very sad to see that Anne-Marie had passed away. I worked with her at Reed Stenhouse for years and her office was beside me as I was the receptionist. How I wish I had been told where she was at the end as I would have loved to have visited her. My sincerest condolences to her entire family at this time. She was so very proud of all her children and spoke of them fondly many times. I thought the world of her and I know she will be missed by all. Sincerely, Penny Jenkins

To all of the family of Anne-Marie, I extend my deepest condolences. I had the pleasure of working at Staebler Insurance for a time and knowing Anne-Marie. She was such a classy lady and always so friendly. She had a wonderful laugh which you would get to hear any time you saw her as she shared a story. Over the years I was fortunate enough to be included in some evenings out for dinner with the old gang from Staebler's and we all enjoyed catching up. She sure loved her family and spoke of you all often. I know she will be missed immensely.
