Dear Richard, Graham and Susan,
I've just taken the opportunity to watch the livestream of your Mum's funeral. I'm sure you know that in normal times I would have been there with you. Your Mum was a very special lady that I loved and admired. Our parents took the opportunity to immigrate to Canada in the mid 60's and leave their families behind. That took so much courage. They did it for us!
I remember with fond memories playing hide and seek with all of you back on Erb Street while our parents were having a wee Scots party upstairs.
