My thoughts were with you as I watched the service video and remembered the many times our paths crossed. Aunt Inez was always special to me and I believe I was special to her. When I went to Kitchener in the spring of 1965 she told me I could room at their house on Krug Street (I believe it was). I worked at Gene's Esso in Lancaster that summer and had many a good conversation with Aunt Inez over a cup of coffee in the mornings before leaving for work. My friend from Ferndale, Doug Scott lived there too for a week while thinking about getting a job in Kitchener. After he left our cousin Merv Richardson moved in for awhile. Aunt Inez introduced me to Norman Vincent Peale and Positive Thinking which still has a profound effect on me today. It was my privilege to serve as the pastor at Bethany Church for her wedding to Jerry in 2011. I wont see her again this side of eternity but, as Jerry said to her at the end of their last conversation, I will see you in the morning (just inside the Eastern gate over there.)
My prayer for each of you is that you will be very aware of the comfort of the Holy Spirit as you assimilate her death into your life.
Nephew, Dale Shaw

Grandma, I will miss having you here on earth, but know that you are in good hands and company in heaven.
You were a great listener, kind and gentle and you always whipped up the best sandwiches on a moments notice!
Love you xo

We are saddened by the passing of our Aunt Inez but we also celebrate the life that she had, the lifelong memories we have of the great times we shared together, the true and loving friendship she and Uncle Austin had with my parents (Ed and Willa) but most of all we can also celebrate how today she is free from any struggles of this world as she now, thru faith, enjoys her Heavenly reward for a life lived well. But though she is now free from any sorrow, her family is not and so to all of the family my prayer is that God’s grace will strengthen you during the days ahead and may you share memories that will bring a smile.

I'd like to offer my condolences on the passing of Inez to Gerry and her family. I got to know Inez when I played the piano for chapel services at Sunnyside which were led by Gerry a few years ago. Inez always sat at the back of the chapel and I always made a point of sitting and talking with her once the service was over. She was an incredibly gracious woman, someone who was easy to talk to. She was a very gentle and humble person and so interested in the world around her. In addition, I always noticed what an elegant dresser she was. I always missed her when she wasn't there.
Inez leaves behind a beautiful legacy for all of us who were blessed to know her.
With my sympathy, Liz Blanchett

Dear Mom,
While we know that you are free from Dementia, it does not change the sorrow that we feel. To many you were a wonderful sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. To your family you were a proud mother, mother-in-law, grandma and great-grandma and we loved you dearly. Now, you can re-unite with Dad, Sheril and your many friends and relatives.
Love,
Gary, Kathryn and family
