I was saddened to learn of Kathy’s passing; my sympathies to her family. I had the good fortune to work with your mother for many years at Manulife. We both had a love for singing and would have great conversations about her time with the philharmonic choir. She was a positive woman with a beautiful smile who I will always think of fondly. God bless her.

Dear Brenda and Brian, we were sorry to hear about your Mom. Your family were appreciated as very good neighbours for years; our old shared fence still stands now with established large bushes and trees on either side. Your parents live on through you, with all you were taught. Peace and Strength in Christ always.

Many fond memories of Aunt Kathy and Uncle Arnie as their god child. Still remember my 10th birthday in 1976 when they gave me a gift of a Toronto Blue Jays shirt in advance of the Blue Jays first season. I wore that shirt as much as I could. Both Kathy and Arnie will continue to live on in us with our memories. Looking forward to the celebration of Kathy's life later this year when we can once again get together as an extended family.

Arnie was in my seminary class and Kathy was going with Arnie at the time. We were friends of both of them. Our deepest sympathy to the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Kathy's passing. I first met Kathy in 1979 I think, when I first joined The Robert Simpson Company.
Kathy and I worked together in Human Resources at Simpson's and The Bay, and then at Manulife. Kathy was part of our wee monthly dinner group - started when I left Manulife. We had many happy evenings together with Marla, Kathy and Mary. Kathy and I would meet for coffee at Nougat, near her apartment on Queen St. We also sang together in the Grand Philharmonic Choir, and have many happy shared memories.
I know how proud she was of her children and grandchildren.
She was a lovely woman, and person - who cared for many - and loved her church and music.
My sincerest sympathies to Brenda and Brian and their families.
Sincerely,
Debbie Sheach

Dear Brenda, Brian and families,
I am so saddened to hear of Kathy’s passing. A remarkable, happy-go-lucky lady, friend and co-worker.
When she retired I moved into her position in Human Resources at Manulife. Kathy was a part of our coffee group
and quarterly dining club which continued on after she retired and unti I moved to Wasaga Beach.
Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and
loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.
Rest In Peace, Kathy.

Our hearts break. Kathy was such a warm presence at church. It was a pleasure to talk with her and to feel her enthusiasm and caring for others. She was determined to build up the strength of her community, and we will miss her.
