Members of First United Church would like to send their condolences to the family of Ed Russell. He and his wife and children were active members of the Church for many years. In more recent years Mr. Russell would walk across the street for Sunday service. He will be missed and we send our sympathy to the family.

My sincere sympathies on the passing of Ed. I worked with him for many years at Mutual Life (now Sun Life) and appreciated his quiet dedication to his job and his pleasant, friendly manner. He was a real gentleman.

I will always remember your Dad’s kindness, friendly chats, and warm smile, when we attended First United in Waterloo. He knew I was from Harriston and he from Mt Forest and that we had so many mutual friends, about whom we would discuss. I also remember when George was ordained and came back to lead us in service on occasion. We were all proud of his successes. Sincere condolences to you all as you send your dad and grandpa off to his heavenly home. His was a life week lived.
