Hermann was always the life of the party. He and Aggie vied for who could tell the best joke. His "Busch" in Hanover was a stopping point for many relatives and friends where Hermann enjoyed many t-bone steaks back in the day. One time the power went out and Hermann had to BBQ his steaks. He had a huge pile of them when Tante Auguste walked by and noticed them. Later she went by again and the steaks were gone. Hermann pretended he had eaten them all. They had a good laugh. Hermann was also one of the cousins who regularly called on his relatives by phone just to check to see how they were doing. Our family circle is getting smaller and we will remember fondly the times we spent together.
