Obituary of Peter Serge Sacharow

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter on July 10, 2021 at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener after a lengthy illness.

Loving husband to Cara Grant. Cherished father to Hannah and adoring stepfather to Chad and Laura. Survived by his sister Sandra and her spouse and their children Helen and Emma, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Robin and Andrea Zeller and their children Rachel and Noah, and by his in-laws Morris and Audrey Frittenburg. Predeceased by his parents Serge and Margaret. Will forever remain in the hearts of extended family and friends.

After a lengthy career as a teacher with the WRDSB, he spent his retirement years with many hobbies including gourmet cooking, day tripping with family, being an avid reader and a lifelong learner, playing pool with his friend Jon, listening to music, and adding to his extensive record collection.

Cremation has taken place. A private Celebration of Peter’s Life will be held at a later date.

A special thank you to the doctors and nurses of the cardiac staff at St. Mary’s Hospital for their care and support.
