Sincere sympathy to Hector’s entire family. I have fond memories of Hector coming to play pool at the Adult Recreation Centre ‘back in the day. He’d enter the centre with his usual big, warm smile and say ‘Jaye, I have a joke for you and he’d share and laugh away. He was a kind, gentle soul who loved his family and loved sharing stories of them with all the staff at the ARC. He sure knew how to brighten any room just by walking into it. Please know his vibration of love and kindness will live on at the ARC and in the many lives he touched. May you Rest In Peace sweet Hector. Joyful, humble, generous and kind, Hector was a friend to everyone he met. I was always greeted with a quote, that wonderful smile, a list of songs he wanted to listen to, and bowls of strawberries.
