FURTUNESCU, Alexandru “Alex”.

Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at the age of 71 years.  Beloved husband of Elena, Alex is survived by his daughter Roxana and her husband Trevor Clair.  Cherished Bunu of Grayson and Violet.  Survived by his brother Valentin of Romania. 

Alex loved to spend time with his family, travel, read, listen to classical music and was known to tell jokes to his family, friends and colleagues. He worked many years and retired from OpenLink Software.

Relatives and friends will be received at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S., Waterloo, on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 2pm - 4pm and 7pm - 9pm.  Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 11am.
