I am so sorry to just hear about Sheila’s death. What a beautiful and loving person she was. My father: Fraser Shepherd was her cousin. They had a wonderful relationship. Love to all the family. Difficult times but wonderful memories. Love Janet

Joan and Fred, and Bruce and Jane and families. We were so saddened to learn of Sheila's passing after such a long and valiant fight. We are thinking especially of her on today, her birthday. We have so many fond memories of Sheila at the cottage and
around town. She was always so bright and lively and interested in the adventures of the Hayes family.
What a marvellous tribute your wrote for her- definitely a life well-lived. So packed full of joy and fun times surrounded by the love
of such a caring family.
Blessings to all.

A truly remarkable woman. Our lives have been enriched through our association with Sheila, as well as the entire MacDonald family for many, many years.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Joan, Bruce and Janice, as well as all of the family members at this time.

I was so saddened to hear of Sheila's death. I worked with Sheila at K-W Hospital (now Grand River Hospital). Sheila was a fine, dedicated, principled, professional lady whom I loved. She treated all with respect. She was expectational in her work as a medical social worker. My condolences to her family. May your memories of happy times fill the void in your hearts as you journey onward without Sheila.
Love, Margie Warren

Joan and Bruce, I am extremely sorry to hear of your Mum's passing. She was a wonderful woman and I'll always remember her for her life-long kindness to me as her nephew (who wasn't always easy). She was a remarkably warm and caring woman, with a tremendously dry wit. I'll never forget our stay during a wonderful visit to Galt in 1967, on the road from Vancouver to Expo 67!

Dear Sheila will be so missed. This obituary is beautiful. It brings memories of sailing experiences on Geogian Bay and visiting with Sheila and Bill. Sheila always made Ken and mýself feel welcome and her genuine interest in all friends made us treasure her friendship. My sincere sympathy to her family. You have lost a treasured member.
