It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob with his loving, cherished wife by his side on December 23.

He leaves behind to mourn Debra (Kopf), his most treasured wife; his son Derek Hines; his daughter Susan (Steve) Scherer; his grandchildren Jordan (Jill) and John (Stephanie) as well as his 5 great-grandchildren Zachary, Michael, Brooklyn, Taylor and Maylin.

Bob was the most loving father to Debra’s children Rebecca Carthy, Melissa Furlong, Jason (Liz) Furlong and his 2 treasured grandchildren Jaxx and Abbey, who spent many happy hours in Wiarton with nana and grandpa. He was the last surviving member of the Hines family and leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family, and good friends. Predeceased by his first wife Maureen McMaster and daughter Tiffany Hines.

A memorial service will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will no longer be a reception following.
