I thought because I was still young when we moved from Rodney Street that I would not know Mrs. Eby.
But , when I saw the family photos I DO remember her lovely kind face and her smile and her gentle nature.
Our families have been intertwined throughout the years. Your dad babysat Barb and Lynn when I was being born. Your family and ours have many memories to cherish.
My deepest sympathy to the entire family, your Mom's kindness will not be forgotten.

Agnes was such a dear friend. We met many years ago during our time as nurses at KW Hospital.
I have so many fond memories from over the years of trips and outings Ray and I took with Milt and Agnes. You could not ask for a nicer couple to have fun with.
My deepest condolences

What a great service of an amazing person. A number of tears here as Aunt Agnes was remembered and celebrated today. A person of great quality, integrity and character. You all did a great job of sharing the essence of Aunt Agnes. A large task to say the least. I have a lot of great memories of her at family reunions and how she would easily connect with all of us. The loss of her is great and the size of the hole with her missing must be huge. Thankfully her impact and memories fill your lives in wonderful ways in the midst of the loss. Praying for you all in this time of grieving. Thank you for including us in her service. Much appreciated.

Agnes was our second mom on Rodney. Her quiet gentle kindness always an assurance of comfort and love. Appreciated in all areas of her life as she devoted her energies to raising a family, nursing and outreach. A woman ahead of her time in both intellect and balance. Our family shares in your grief and send our love and deepest condolences. “ … May the Lord bless thee and keep thee…. And give thee peace”

To the Eby Family:
I was a colleague of your Mom at Family & Children's Services from 1969 to 1971. I have been privileged to have kept in touch with her after we both left the agency and have been blessed by her friendship. Her willingness to help in every situation and a sincere concern for others was shown in her work and volunteerism. Rest in peace dear friend.

Dear Karen and Linda
How many happy memories I have of your mother. Every Thursday morning CAS Workers would shop up
at Dr. Whaley and Dr. Friday's Office with their clients. Your mother always had such a lovely smile and I
see it in her picture in the Record.
I just wrote Dr Whaley for his birthday and mentioned your Mom to him. He will be 95 this week.
My thoughts are with you.

It is with sadness that I read of the passing of Agnes Eby. We met when I was working at what was then called Children's Aid,
and then continued to cross paths from then on. I will always remember her wide smile, her open heart, and her warm greeting taking the whole of me in and embracing that whole, as she did with everyone with whom she came in contact. With all my love to the family,
Anna Hemmendinger
