What an honour and privilege it has been to be one of Nina’s care team members while at Trinity Village. Nina was full of grace and humbleness and nothing could overshadow Nina’s twinkling eyes and perpetual smile. I will miss Nina tremendously and I will miss her adoring husband David so very ,very much. My sincere condolences to the Ogilvie family.

Mr. And Mrs. O were such beautiful, loving people, in every way. Mrs. O would always wave at me, on Sunday mornings, and we’d always chat for a bit before or after services, at Trinity. What a beautiful legacy they leave behind. My condolences to the family. May our Lord Jesus hold you in His loving arms during this time.

Mrs.O was my birthday buddy. She never failed to send me a birthday card. Mrs. Os love of her heavenly father shine through her as she was a missionary to so many children and adults here on earth.
For her Sunday school class, she had us for sleep overs, Sunday lunches, and encourage us to have our own Bible, which is still my favorite Bible to use to this day.
Mr.O was incharge of driving me home from those lunches and sleep overs. As I lived the furthest away, we enjoyed many conversations. See you in Heaven.

What a legacy of faith in Jesus and living a life of love for others. I consider David and Nena very special friends over the years. David was such an example of generous giving and caring for not only his community but the larger "global village." He taught about giving generously and he lived it out. And Mrs O., what can I say - I can see her waving her hat and hear her cheerfully calling out to the children arriving on a Monday morning to Trinity VBC. "Welcome, come on in!" And so it was, Nena loved the children and welcomed them wholeheartedly as Jesus did.
They will be greatly missed. The challenge moving forward is this: who will carry the torch and what legacy do we leave behind?

I have many memories of Mrs. O, both in Sunday school/Missionary Cadets and at her home where she frequently hosted the girls Sunday school class for lunch. I remember her as a steady and cheerful presence, always ready with a song or a flannel graph that pointed the way to Jesus. Honestly, I was a little afraid of her when I was young- I felt like she could see into my heart sometimes. And maybe she could. Looking back I see now how much she loved the Lord and that manifested itself in countless hours of service to children and many others. Mrs. O, made a lasting and eternal spiritual impact on the hearts of so many children, including mine and I am so grateful for that. My sincere condolences to the family of David and Nena.

I am truly sorry to hear of the loss of Nena and David within a few days of each other. It was always a pleasure to see them
at the office and I know your father displayed his love for your mom with his almost daily visits after she was in long term care.
My sincere condolences to all the family on your loss. They truly lived their strong faith with care and concern for others.
Sincerely,
Dianne

I have so many wonderful memories of Mrs. O. She was a weekly fixture in my life growing up as every Monday was After school Bible club at her home. She was a cheery hello on our way to and from school every day as well. She was a true example of how we need to live our lives. I extend my sympathies to her boys on the loss of their mother and having to deal with it so soon after the loss of their father.
