Joann: to let you know we had a ‘beer toast’ today to George (Aug 4/22) at our luncheon; ‘we’ being all his and your regular Friday golfing friends during the past 20+ years. We saluted George for his humour, positive attitude and gentlemanly consideration for others. This was carried over to his love for and skill of golf leaving us in awe of his play even as he never stopped ‘ball hawking’ during play. George was passionate in his beliefs and did not hesitate to use his salesman skill to persuade others for agreement to them. His love, support and admiration for Joann was always evident; George will be missed by all who knew him during his long lifetime.
